The awards were presented during an official ceremony at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Thursday, March 3, 2022. Ookla awarded Togocom, the incumbent operator in Togo: the Fastest mobile network and the Fastest fixed network. Telma, leader in Madagascar, was awarded the Fastest mobile network for the year 2021. Ookla, through its Speedtest Awards, bestows excellence nominations to the fastest and best performing fixed broadband and mobile operators in the world.
